Happy New Year!!

I'd like to wish all our customers a very happy and prosperous 2011, and thank you for your support.
We have some superb exhibitions lined up for this year, starting with Sarah Dennis, Catching the Big Fish, on 5th February, so plenty to look forward to here, but first we are having a bit of a sale and have some huge discounts on a selection of things in store.
Make sure you come and have a look before it's all gone.

Stocking Fillers

Our friend Barnaby Purdy has been busy making a wicked selection of stocking fillers all for under a tenner including, handpainted mugs, funky keyrings and 3D tealight holders with illuminating shadow characters in bright acrylics.

A few Christmas present ideas

The shop is slowly being transformed into an art lovers Christmas grotto, with lots of lovely handmade cards, beautiful prints and shelves full of books. Along with a new batch of jewellery from Tatty Devine and Tuckshop, gorgeous stationary and plenty of stocking fillers, there is definitely something for everyone here.
And if you ask nicely we will even wrap it up for you.

Invisible Forces - will be taking over the gallery in November

Team Muju are 2 Artists who have recently moved to St Ives Cornwall, to set up their new Muju Studio & workshop by the Atlantic Ocean.They have been creating artwork together since 2004.
Miss Muju creates intricate handmade felt sculptures & has exhibited her Muju figures worldwide.
Mr Muju works with ink & paint & creates limited edition prints & intricate paintings on wood.
Their work has recently appeared in exhibitions in USA and Europe, and has featured in publications on character design & Street Art.

The exhibition will run from 2nd November - 4th December.
Tues - Sat. 10am - 5pm.

There will be a private view on Thursday 4th November from 6-8pm and a chance to meet the artists and have a chat over a glass of wine, everyone is welcome so please bring your friends.

I'd been looking for some suitable diaries and calendars to stock for next year and finally I think I found the perfect solution from local Cornish company Dodo Pad. Packed with useful information, lots of little illustrations and plenty of spaces for you to doodle, or write important notes, the Dodo pad is a brilliant combined memo-doodle-engage-diary-message-ment book, and with three different types in stock there's bound to be one to suit you too.
